About

I come from a family of teachers that have taught me that there is nothing more important than continuing to learn. That is what I love about programming. I get the chance to learn some new technology or way of doing something every day. I took a different route than most but I love to code.

I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor's in Finance and a minor in Business Management. Going into my final year of college, I got a job as a financial representative. While working as a financial representative I enjoyed building relationships with people and helping them set goals. After graduating, I got a job working for Cost Segregation Authority where my love for tech grew. I worked my way into a project management role where I learned that I loved to solve problems, especially those that involved programming in VBA. I look forward to improving my skills as a software engineer and I hope to make an impact at my next job. When I am not programming I enjoy the outdoors, movies and golfing.
